Swap choices, help me decide?

A lot can be said for good lighting. I made all three of these cards on the same day but only took pics of one. Well I learned my lesson. Last week the sun was blazing! And today we have clouds, and I just cant get a good pic of these cards. And I dont have the time to fool with Adobe at the moment because I have to head out for a very busy day. So I apologize for the not so great pics. Thanks for peeking in today!

Friday Mashup # 3

Oops, I'm a little behind this week. Seems that way all the time these days. Once the weather warms up my days and nights seem to run together. I think all the sunlight allows me to stay super busy. Today's card is my take on this weeks Friday Mashup challange. I made some cards last week for an upcoming swap (I will show you those tomorrow) and I really loved how they came out so I thought I would try the same design just in B&W for this challange. I have always loved the joy fold card and this one is no different really except for the dimensions. For this challange it had to be square so the card is 4 1/4 x 4 1/4. Thanks for peeking in today!

Mini Magazine File

How stinking cute is this!? I love these mini magazine files. This little beauty will be sitting on my desk to hold outgoing swaps until they are completed :) A nice little addition to my decor theme at Studio B. What a great way to gift a set of cards! I wish I could take credit for the pattern, but I found it here at Jan's blog. Probably one of the easiest tutorials I have ever followed. Thanks for peeking in today!

Bookmarks?.........

You might be wondering what brought all of this on? Over spring break my son was reading one of his favorite books and I discovered that he was using a lego brick as a place marker. Now I know the kid loves legos, but seriously? LOL So I realized there was a  need for mom to get crafty. My first attempt was a pretty one for me :), then the 2nd was a grave mistake, lol. And finally the one made for him. I dont think the camera picked up the skulls eyes very well, but I had to add those gems!! He loved it btw. Thanks for peeking in today!

My first attempt

2nd one (not loving this at all)

Easter Gifts Challenge 63-001

I thought would chime in on  this challange, just to change it up and try something new. It keeps the creativity flowing at least. I always want to make things for my boys for the holidays and I worry that they will think things I make are hokie. I try to man it down and not add too much bling, and I usually get compliments like: "wow you made this?" or "this is pretty cool!' (I will take those statements as compliments anyway :0) So I though a couple of small Easter baskets wouldn't be too over the top, after all they are still my babies and I want to do something special for them for every holiday. Thanks for peeking in today!

Bunny Gable Box

When I saw this little cutie, I had to make him for my friemds little boy who is 7. They will be here in 3 days and I cant wait to see the look on his face when he sees this little furry friend! He looks over his moms shoulder and checks out my blog from time to time and he was real impressed with the penguin I made a week ago, so Im  hoping he will be thrilled with this. I got the idea here but I had to made some adjustments because I didnt have the exact punches, but I think I made it work, dont you? Thanks for peeking in today!

Never Ending Card

Uhm, yeah the title couldn't be more true. LOL! I have never spent so much time on one card! I will admitt I do like the way it turned out, how eye catching it is, and how it isnt your run of the mill card. For the never ending card you definitely need to have just the right dsp so that you can pre plan your card sections ( will know for next time). Hope you enjoy! Thanks for peeking in today!

Vintage Elements of syle?

Sadly their is no Mashup challenge this week, so I'm off to explore more new items I recieved. I wanted to try out the tulip embossing folder and the card below is what I came up with. It's my first attempt at making a vintage looking card. I think it turned out pretty good. Thanks for peeking in today!

Tag Wallet

Here is another little cutie that I have been working on. So cute! What I like best about this project is how versatile it is. You can "man" it up and add little tags or pics to the pockets......Just use your imagination :) Thanks for peeking in today!
