Pinwheel Prototype Centerpiece

I'm happy to report that I'm part of a planning team here in Germany responsible for the decorations for this years Annual AWAG  conference. We have all sorts of great ideas and have been working hard on ordering supplies so that we can make most of the table decorations and centerpieces ourselves. Here is the pinwheel centerpiece that I threw together quick just to get an idea of how large it could be. I used a salsa jar, some double-sided paper, glue dot, ribbon, brads and a drinking straw. It only took me about 20 minutes to throw together. I think its perfect! The color scheme that this center piece will be used for is different so I will be back with a preview of the real one when we start putting things together. Hope you enjoy.............

Finally back and posting again.........

I have been insanely busy, although I have been creating cutsies I haven't had the extra time to post them. What on earth am I going to do when I get a job! lol

So today I bring you the coffee filter wreath that I took pictures of over a month ago, but I wasn't happy with the shots taken against the white door of my studio. But since I have not had an opportunity to take a better picture I give you the coffee filter wreath. I enjoyed making the wreath but I will warn you that its time consuming and you will burn your fingers with clue if you are a klutz like me, heehee. I love the way it turned out, don't you? Hope you enjoy........

Im a guest Designer! Ala Card Monkey # 96

How cool is that! My first time as a challenge winner and guest designer you can check out the blog here. . Pretty kooooool. For this card, I really stepped outside of my comfort zone and tried a couple of new things. I don't tend to stamp or create anything with pastel colors, so using the blue and it being one of the lighter blues in the color palette was a first for me. But I figure I have to use that card stock sometime, otherwise why do I have it! The second thing I did with this card was stamp on the ribbon, also a first for me. I knew you could do it but Ive just never tried it. I like the effect of it so I'm sure I will be using it more often. In any event I'm pleased with the way the card turned out, just wished that my camera and the weather here in Germany would cooperate for more appealing photos. Hope you enjoy..........

Thanks for peeking in,.......
